1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KisaanJi (the "Platform"), owned and operated by Havteq Solutions Private Limited. By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. What the Platform is

KisaanJi is an agricultural marketplace and farmer-services platform. It lets farmers/sellers list produce and services, connects them with buyers, and provides supporting tools: real-time mandi prices, weather advisories, government scheme information, farm accounting (Bahi-Khata), crop calendar, AI Crop Advisor/Doctor/chatbot, training courses, and — where you choose to use them — paid-transaction features such as wallet top-ups, escrow-protected orders, RFQs, and GST invoicing, all processed through Razorpay.

3. Membership plans

Registration is currently on the Free plan, which gives full access to platform features (subject to fair-use daily limits on AI tools, described below). Basic and Pro annual plans are displayed on our pricing page but are marked "Coming soon" and are not currently available for purchase — no subscription charges are processed today. If and when paid plans are enabled, this clause and our Refund & Cancellation Policy will be updated in advance, and you will be notified before any charge applies to your account.

4. Fair use of AI features

AI Crop Advisor, Crop Doctor, chatbot, voice assistant, and related tools are offered subject to daily usage limits to keep the service sustainable and available to everyone. Limits vary by feature and plan and are shown in-product. AI-generated output is informational only — see our Disclaimer for important limitations.

5. Payments, wallet & escrow

Where you choose to transact on the Platform, payments (wallet top-ups and order payments) are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-regulated payment aggregator. The Platform Wallet is an internal ledger reflecting amounts you have paid via Razorpay for use within the Platform — it is not a bank account. For marketplace orders using escrow, funds are held until delivery is confirmed or the applicable auto-release period elapses without an unresolved dispute, after which they are released to the seller. 6. User responsibilities

Sellers must provide accurate product information, quality grades, and fair pricing, and must fulfil orders they accept. Buyers must make genuine inquiries and pay for orders they place. Quality grades (A+, A, B, C, D) are self-reported by sellers unless explicitly marked as third-party verified — we recommend independent verification for high-value transactions. Misrepresentation, fraud, price-manipulation, or spam will result in account suspension or termination and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not: list prohibited, counterfeit, or banned items (including banned pesticides/agrochemicals flagged by our system); circumvent fair-use limits or security controls; scrape or resell platform data; impersonate another person or entity; or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

8. Government scheme & price information

Scheme details are aggregated from myScheme.gov.in for reference only — final eligibility, application process, and approval rest solely with the respective government department. Mandi prices are sourced from AGMARKNET/data.gov.in and price forecasts are statistical estimates based on historical data — neither is a guarantee of the price you will receive. 9. Intellectual property

The Platform's software, design, and original content (including course materials) belong to Havteq Solutions Private Limited. Content you upload (listings, photos, reviews) remains yours; by posting it, you grant us a licence to display it on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

10. Limitation of liability

KisaanJi is a marketplace and information platform. Except as required by applicable law, we are not liable for: the quality, safety, legality, or timely delivery of products/services transacted between users; losses arising from reliance on AI-generated output, price forecasts, weather advisories, or third-party government data; or acts/omissions of any user, buyer, or seller. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Havteq Solutions Private Limited, its officers, and employees from any claim arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Account suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Platform, with or without notice depending on severity. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Grievance redressal & dispute resolution

For order-related disputes, please use the in-platform Returns/Disputes process first. For any other grievance, contact our Grievance Officer at . If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by Havteq Solutions Private Limited, seated at Panchkula, Haryana, conducted in English.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to Clause 13, the courts at Panchkula, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter arising from these Terms.

15. Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet/telecom outages, government action, or failures of third-party services we rely on (payment gateway, AI provider, government data sources).

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or by email; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
